- 1 ½ cup wheat flour;
- 1 teaspoon of dry yeast;
- 1 chicken egg;
- ¼ cup of water;
- ¼ cup of milk;
- 1 tablespoon of sugar;
- 2 tablespoons butter;
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar;
- 100 g dried apricots;
- ¼ teaspoon of salt;
- 40 g of powdered sugar;
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice;
- almond flakes.

We activate dry yeast for making Easter cakes: pour into a glass, add a teaspoon of sugar and water heated to 30 degrees Celsius. Mix, leave warm for 30 minutes, during which time a foam will appear on the surface of the water.
Pour milk into the saucepan, pour the remaining sugar, salt, vanilla sugar, add the butter. Heat over low heat until the butter and sugar melt, cool to 35 degrees.
We break a fresh chicken egg into the pan, preferably with a bright yolk, the color of the cake test depends on this.
Mix the ingredients with a fork or whisk until smooth.
We measure out the right amount of wheat flour, sift through a sieve into a deep bowl.
Pour the activated yeast onto the flour.

Mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice until a thick white mass is obtained. We cover warm cakes with sugar glaze.
